Resources to help you read the Bible in a year.

If we are going to have the best year ever, it’s going to be because we had the best year spiritually! And one way to ensure that is to get in the Word like you never have before. In 2025, Stephanie and I are challenging you to read the entire Bible. That’s right. Genesis to Revelation in 365 days! You can do this!

If we are going to have the best year ever, it’s going to be because we had the best year spiritually!

God’s Word is God’s literal word for you. So many people spend much of their spiritual lives hoping to hear from God not realizing He has already spoken. As we read this together, we are going to do our best to help you along the way.

Here’s a list of resources you might need to walk with us in the “Year of the Bible”:

  1. Grab your favorite Bible (maybe even a new one). Some people have asked me which is the best version or translation and I’ll share that but first let me say this, “the best translation of the Bible is the one you read.” My personal preference for study with accuracy and word for word translation is the ESV (English Standard Version). My personal favorite for casual reading and story is the NLT (New Living Translation).
  2. Get a brand new notebook. I love this moleskin. It’s lightweight, great quality and not too expensive. This has been my go to for years! They key to a notebook is to write down what you see, what you hear, what you learn, your observation, the revelations, what the Lord speaks to you, your prayers and more. Just write.
  3. Download the reading plan and keep it in your Bible. This is the plan we are all using. We’ll have physical copies at church, but you can print one off from home easily. DOWNLOAD the plan here.
  4. Check our blog for weekly insight and our instagram for monthly overviews!

Here’s a couple great study resources to go along with your year if you want to really dive deep:

  1. Bible Recap has a lot of great resources from the hardcover guide, podcast and more.
  2. Bible Project videos are great for book of the Bible overviews about author, audience, context and content.
  3. Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance – word for word Greek and Hebrew definition
  4. Tyndale Bible Dictionary – a comprehensive guide to people, places and words in the Bible
  5. Preaching through the Word full commentary set – a book by book, verse by verse explanation

Me and Stephanie are so excited to journey with you through the Bible! What a year this is going to be!
