Faith is such an integral part of our spiritual journey. Paul tells us that faith is the very thing that is necessary to be saved and to be a son or daughter of God.

So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith. Galatians 3:26 NIV

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God… Ephesians 2:8 NIV

Everything we do that matters is a matter of faith. As you press into believing for MORE, it’s important to be sure that you first exercise faith in the person of Jesus. Before we can believe for anything, we must believe in someone. That someone is Jesus.

Today, take a moment to pray, not just for something but to someone. Ask Jesus to increase your faith in Him, in the reality of His existence, in the reality of His love and in the reality that through Him, you are a son or daughter of the Most High God. Once you experience the real Jesus, having faith for other things will come MORE easy.
