As we close out the year of 2024, I believe we can do this with a bang. I’m not talking about fireworks or champagne bottles opening, I’m talking about the sound of generosity moving the church of Jesus Christ forward into MORE.

This has been a year of “more” for Vima. We’ve seen God do incredible things that we honestly weren’t sure would happen this year. As we share some of these with you and celebrate with you we also want to challenge you to consider making a year-end offering that will be a catalyst for 2025. If you have already given in the “There is More” miracle offering we want to say “THANK YOU!” but if you haven’t or if you want to do more – it’s not too late!

Our average fall attendance was over 600 weekly! With an average of 111 in Vima Kids! and that only happens because of the awesome 188 active GO teams members serving weekly on Sundays.

300+ engaged in a Small Group and 98 graduated our brand new Next Step class

but here is the number that matters most…212 Salvations & 83 Baptisms

We built a second campus in Peru! Vima Filadelifa launched in June with over 200 in attendance!

and we announced our plans to find our first permanent church home!!!

Here’s a few more miracles that we are celebrating in 2024…

Hosted our first Marriage Conference with 104 in attendance (52 couples)
Egg the Park community egg hunt had over 3,750 in attendance between Edgemoor and McAdams parks.
Had over 250 students attend the Vima YTH “Rally”.
Hosted our second annual VBS with 100 kids in attendance.
Our annual Summer Serve Day had 200+ volunteers lead and complete 9 projects over Wichita.
Launched our third service at Vima for kids and parking overflows.
Sponsored 264 local foster children for Hope & Future event.
Held our first El Dorado Prison Ministry live service with 8 salvations.

As we close out the year we want to give glory to God for all He has done! What a mighty God we serve! It is an honor and privilege to serve Him and His mission! Thank you Vima for your generosity and passion to see Wichita experience the real Jesus! We love you!
